The incarnation is Jesus taking on of flesh, and the hypostatic union is Jesus being fully God and fully man. This is an absolute important doctrine. Because if Jesus is just man, then He is a liar because He claimed to be God. And if Jesus is just God, then He was not born of a virgin and the Gospel accounts are invalid. But Jesus was born of a virgin, conceived by the Holy Spirit, and therefore He was fully man and fully God.]]></description>
