Today, Jesus says to us, “I am the vine.”  And one of the key teachings is when Jesus said, “apart from me you can do nothing.” The metaphor that Jesus uses in this I Am statement is a vineyard, in particular a vine and branches. He will also introduce us to a vinedresser. And the point that Jesus is going to make is that apart from Him we are not just ineffective, but rather we are dead.]]></description>
