Jesus fulfills the Law with Grace

Now that Jesus has established who we are, and how we are to live who we are, He wants to clarify the purpose and original intent of the Law.  In this passage He speaks very highly of the Law.  It is so important that not even the smallest detail will ever pass away.  Yet ironically He was accused of being a law breaker by the religious leaders.  What the religious leaders considered the law and what Jesus considered the law turn out to be two different things.  The Bible is eternally relevant but man adds His own rules and a burden of legalism is born. The righteousness of Jesus is one of the Heart.  The Kingdom of God is a matter of the Heart.  God writes His word on our hearts with Grace!  See you on Sunday!
